Why We Built This Site
Texas court access can look simple until the clerk structure matters. The Brazoria County District Clerk keeps district civil, family, and felony records, while the County Clerk handles county-level misdemeanors and county civil or probate files. Municipal and justice courts keep their own matters. The county Odyssey portal and re:SearchTX add online routes, but neither replaces the responsible clerk. This site organizes those official paths so a reader can choose the correct court, search method, and record-request process.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookups: ways to use the county portal, clerk channels, and docket search resources
- Docket guides: how Brazoria County criminal court dockets and civil court dockets differ
- Record requests: where to request court case records and certified documents
- Dates and settings: how to read the court schedule and confirm a setting with the assigned court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Texas court, clerk, or agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
An official or certified docket or case document must come from the Brazoria County clerk or court that holds it. This site only identifies those official sources.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this free site. Their output is not an official Brazoria County record and should be checked against the originating clerk or court.
